ILYC job openings:

chef - Full time/Seasonal position

Chef to manage ILYC kitchen. Excellent environment for an experienced and creative person. Must be energetic, outgoing and communicate well with members and guests. Experienced only for this full time salaried position.

Availability:  May (part time) through Labor Day.

Responsibilites:  to oversee and effectively manage the galley, galley staff, food production, storage areas, inventory and any related Food & Beverage (F&B) assets. Ensure the F&B department meets safety and sanitation, food service quality and budgeted goals.

Requirements:

  • Possess a current certification in food safety and handling a prescribed by R.I. law.
  • Serve Safe Food Manager certificate and allergen certificate.
  • 5 years restaurant experience with approximately 120 meals per day.
  • Excellent supervisory and managerial skills.
  • Ability to act in a professional manner at all times.

food & beverage manager - full-time seasonal position

Candidate required to have at least 5 years of food and beverage management experience.

ILYC is looking for a person to manage all aspects of food and beverage. This role will be responsible for the front-of-house (FoH) operations of Club Dining and Special Events. This includes: menu planning with chef and entertainment committee; creative input for all events; dining facility appearance; member/guest experience; and professional leadership of the food & beverage staff. Preferred: ServeSafe and TIPS certified.
