Restaurant meal at 21 Water Street.        EGYC Moorings available.

Rented moorings reserved at $35 a night from East Greenwich Yacht Club; Diner at nearby 21 Water Street Restaurant on Saturday night.

July 4th Cruise

Bristol           (dist. 12 NM)

Fireworks Friday night (to be confirmed), Friday lobster boil at BYC.

Parade Saturday (confirmed).  

Bristol Harbor. Sixteen moorings reserved and available at $40 a night on a first-come-first-served basis; 2-night min.*). Lobster bake Friday night at the Bristol Yacht Club.  Picnic at BYC Saturday night.

Annual Cruise 2009

West along the Connecticut Shore and up the Connecticut River.

To Stonington, Ct.              (dist. 18 NM)

Dinner ashore at the Stonington Yacht Club.

Slips or moorings arranged through Dodson’s.

On outer harbor rented moorings

Stonington on outer harbor rented moorings ($47.70 night), with launch service to dinner at the Stonington Yacht Club.

Monday & Tuesday

7/27 - 7/28

To Mystic, Ct.                       (dist. 7 NM)

En route to Mystic, lunch break at Abbott’s Cove or East Cove on Mason Island.

Dinner at the Seaman’s Inne (sic) in the Seaport Monday night. (Sharon Pavignano has offered to look into an after hours tour of the Mystic Aquarium).

Mystic Seaport on slips at $3.75 per foot/night, with dinner at the Seamen’s Inne Tuesday night.

Lay day on Tuesday.

Wednesday 7/29

To Hamburg Cove, Ct.                            (dist. 28 NM (to Essex)) 

at anchor

Thursday 7/30

Saybrook Point Marina ($3.50 a foot), with dinner at the Dock & Dine Restaurant.
Friday  7/31            

To                                   (dist. 30 NM to Watch Hill Cove)

West Harbor on Fishers Island at anchor (slips and inner harbor moorings available).

Saturday

Dutch Harbor                        (dist. 27 NM)

Potluck dinner at  Charlie and Jan Columpar’s in Jamestown.

Fall Cruise 2009

(Sat/Sun 9/19 – 20 tentatively)        

Wickford                                (dist. 9 NM)

Catered lobster picnic at the WYC or dinghy to Town Dock for restaurant meal. Cruise destination contingent on mooring availability.  No launch service.

Wickford Harbor on reserved moorings (boats rafted because of limited mooring availability).
