Volunteers needed for the finish starting Sunday June 7th
62 yachts are scheduled to take part in this year’s race and they will probably start arriving at the Castle Hill finish line late Sunday depending on the conditions.
Annapolis YC, Ida Lewis YC and New York YC will jointly need to have 3 people at Castle Hill Lighthouse and 2 more in the Sailing Center Duty Office 24 hours a day from Sunday evening until the last yacht finishes about Wednesday.
We need volunteers and have set up watches for each day starting Sunday at 1900 and repeating the pattern each day until all yachts have finished as follows:
Duty at the lighthouse is where the action is, but there are no heads and it may be chilly, wet and/or buggy. This could be your last chance to spend the night in a lighthouse as future finishes are likely be at the beacon at Ft Adams.
