US Sailing

Club Race Officer Certification Class

Seaman’s Church Institute

8 AM to 5 PM
Instructors: Robin Wallace and Ron Hopkins
 

Fee: $35 will cover continental breakfast,

food/drinks at morning and afternoon breaks and lunch;

class materials and exam
 

Participants are also asked to join US Sailing prior to taking the class.

This will provide you with a new rule book and access to valuable materials

on the US Sailing website.

Class limited to first 25 to register (send email to racecommittee@ilyc.org) and send fee to ILYC, Attn: Race Officer Training, PO Box 479, Newport, RI 02840
 

Class will be posted on US Sailing website and open to all.
 
Class will provide training on all aspects of race management and is ideal for the new or experienced race committee member.
 
If you want to help on race committee this is highly recommended. A test will be given at the end of the day. You will be asked to participate but may request that the test is not graded.
