Spring Fling: June 21-22
Power or Sail Narragansett Bay
Proceed up the Bay to the Bristol Yacht Club in Bristol on June 21
Obtain a mooring through Dockwa on your own, ask Dockwa for a mooring near Bristol Yacht Club in order to use their launch service.
Cocktail party on shore, and outdoor grilling weather permitting.
June 22 return home to Newport/points south.
Independence Day Rendezvous: July 4th
Mackerel Cove Cruising Raft Up at 1200
Rendezvous and raft or anchor (weather dependent) in proximity to Ida Lewis boats.
Swim, paddle, dinghy in order to gather together for lunch and cheer from 1200 until 1500
Interesting water toys and all forms of flotation are welcome!
Summer Cruise Week: July 27-August 3
To Nantucket Sound and Cape Cod
Travel out of the Bay on a group adventure!
Start from Newport, off to Cuttyhunk Island, then on to Edgartown, Chatham, Hyannis, then back to Lake Tashmoo on Vineyard Sound and Home by August 3rd. Lay days at Chatham and Hyannis.
July 27 - Newport to Cuttyhunk July 28 - Cuttyhunk to Edgartown July 29 - Edgartown to Chatham July 30 - Lay Day Chatham July 31 - Chatham to Hyannis Yacht Club August 1 - Lay Day Hyannis August 2 - Hyannis to Lake Tashmoo August 3 - Lake Tashmoo to Newport
Social events and activities TBD, there will be many! You will be responsible for booking Dockwa but we will let you know when and how. Detailed trip plans and sign up for each day will be posted on this site as time nears.
Fall Getaway to East Greenwich: September 19-21
Leave Newport Friday afternoon for East Greenwich Yacht Club
Friday: Evening Social at EGYC, dinner on your own
Saturday: Kayaking Adventure from Goddard Park led by Butch and Joan Hitchcock
Potluck dinner at EGYC in the evening, then venture up to Main Street for entertainment.
